[ATLAS]. RANDON (Count). ATLAS OF THE CHINA EXPEDITION IN 1860. Dépôt de la guerre, 1861-1862. In-plano ½ brown cloth printed publisher's boards. Spine largely missing. RARE ATLAS of 8 numbered PLANCHES (4 of them double-page), engraved by Erhard Schièble. They concern the Chinese expedition of 1860, the epilogue to the Second Opium War, which began in 1856. These plates were produced from official documents under the direction of General Blondel and the ministry of Marshal Count Randon.
