All-iron filigree spindle with braided rings. Wrought-iron frame, oval pommel, single-branch hilt and curved quillon with flower. Double pontat, with openwork floor (missing) and poucier.
Blade with central quarter gutter, hallmarked "XXX" (Amsterdam) and "R" under crown and engraved "MEFECIT SALINGEN".
