Head of a divinity (apsara?) in pink sandstone. Base. Wear and tear. Khmer art, Angkor, 10th / 12th century.
H. 30 cm, width 23.5 cm.
A family heirloom, this head is said to have come from the Siem Reap temple on the Angkor site, brought back in 1948 by the current owner's grandfather, Pierre LARRE, a military doctor from 1946 to 1949.
