Spectacular parlor mirror with carved and stained wood glazing.
The curved pediment is decorated with tits and dragonflies carved in high relief.
The Guard and the Hunter, each extended by a tree, in carved wood with an antique green patina, applied to the mirror.
The lower part and side parts feature very pronounced whiplash motifs.
Dated July 1910 in pencil on the back.

Mr. and Mrs. X., Eastern France. Owned by descendants for four generations.
