Emile GALLE (1846-1904) in Nancy. Tobacco jar in polychrome earthenware with gold highlights; the lid, neck and side handles imitate ropework; the body decorated with a drinker dressed in Renaissance fashion. Signed under the base. Height: 22 cm. A similar model is on display at the Musée de l'Ecole de Nancy (small enamel chips).
