One of the wrist rests is decorated with a flowering lotus plant and inscribed: Imitating the pen of Song ren in spring of jiaxu year (1874 or 1934), signed 'Youquan'. (31 by 6. cm)
One with a carved decoration on the concave side depicting a phoenix and lingzhi below a tree, on the left inscribed: made by 'Zhong Meiqiang', a student at Fudao school, Wuzhou County. The phoenix with traces of colored pigments (20.8 by 9. cm).
And one carved through the light colored skin with leafy lotus flowers and a bird on a flowering branch, with two-character inscription (26.5 by 7.5 cm).
