ESQUIVILLON & DESCHOUDENS, Geneva, circa 1800
Watch in 18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold with a dial edged with probably fine (untested) half-pearls and decorated with a frieze around the edges of green foliage beaded with white to translucent white enamel. Back case in royal blue enamel, concentrically guilloché and adorned with a painted pastoral scene depicting a young girl wreathing flowers beside her lamb.
Manual mechanical movement with key (present).
Verge escapement movement, with chain, fusée.
Enamel dial with Roman numerals and division from 5' to 60' at the top of the dial.
Original hands set with rose-cut diamonds (many missing).
Platinum signed and numbered 41261.
Very good condition.
Not functional.
