BOLVILLER, Paris, circa 1850
18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold watch, finely engraved all over except for the front, where the central medallion features a painted gallant scene surrounded by a border of fine black enamel. The back is spectacular, as the polychrome enamel slides perfectly between the three-gold engraving. Two small chips in the enamel.
Manual mechanical movement with key (present, in metal, not compatible).
Enamel dial with Roman numerals.
Cylinder escapement.
The watch is numbered 6 2406.
Very good condition, glass detached.
Functional at time of appraisal.
Gross weight: 35.8 g.
