ESQUIVILLON & DESCHOUDENS, Geneva, circa 1800.
Pocket watch in 18k (750 thousandths) yellow and pink gold decorated with royal blue enamel on concentric guilloché. In the center, a hand-painted bucolic scene depicting a young shepherdess with her sheep near her hamlet. An engraved frieze gilded with gold leaf runs around the blue enamel.
Manual mechanical movement with key (present).
Verge escapement movement with chain and spindle.
Enamel dial with Arabic numerals and 15' division at the top.
Very good condition, traces of moisture on the glass.
Functional at time of appraisal.
Gross weight: 71 g.
