Folded fan, the double skin sheet painted with gouache. A young couple presents themselves to love in the guise of a public writer who records their words. A company of young people watch the scene.
The reverse is painted with a damsel offering a golden apple to a young boy.
White mother-of-pearl frame, engraved, burgued, silvered and gilded, decorated with two vases and a gallant scene in the center.
When closed, the fan features two painted flowers, one blue, the other pink.
