Porcelain service set, decorated in the Empire style with a frieze of gold palmettes, iconic "Malmaison" pattern (named after the château and holiday resort of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine) +/-71 pieces, including 2 oval dishes (23 x 18,3 cm), 12 soup plates (h 4.2 x d 18.7 cm), 12 bread plates (d 17 cm), 11 large plates (d 26.5 cm), 11 entremet or dessert plates (d 21.5 cm), 11 cups (5.4 x d 7.8 cm) and 12 saucers (d 14 cm), signature underneath and embossed on rims. Condition: excellent, one cup with a small chip on the inside rim, near-new condition since little used.
