oak sideboard with application of deer antlers and decorated deer antler sections, on the side metal label of the Rampendhal company.Rampendhal was the most skilled and famous maker of antlered furniture. He made several pieces of furniture for "Hosborne House," Queen Victoria's residence on the Isle of Wight, and others for universal exhibitions. Some of them are preserved at the Victoria and Albert.Item condition grading: **** good.
