Classified by Otto Jaekel in 1894, Rajorhina expansa, also known as Pararaja expansa, is an extinct cartilaginous fish, possibly belonging to the rhinopristiforms. It lived in the Upper Cretaceous, Cenomanian stage (about 95 million years ago) and its fossil remains have been found in Lebanon.
The fossil in the auction was also excavated in the Sannine limestone formation near Hajoula, Lebanon.
