Of minimalist aesthetics, the Kaiser lamp is an icon of German design. It was created by Christian Dell (1893-1974) for The Bauhaus and offers a soft and diffused illumination that contributes a great aesthetic value to any interior space.
The goldsmith and designer Christian Dell worked as head of the metal workshop at the Bauhaus from 1922 to 1925, where he developed a novel style. The school of architecture, design, craftsmanship and art founded in 1919, The Bauhaus, brought together several of the most prominent contemporary designers, but from 1926, Dell devoted himself to the design of lamps, often edited by Gebr. Kaiser & Co. Today, the designer furniture brand Fritz Hansen edits the series of designer lamps like the one we bid for.
