Exceptional Warwick Buzzard John Entwistle bass guitar from 1986. Unique Buzzard bass guitar designed by John Entwistle (1944-2002) in partnership with the WARWICK brand. This model was made especially for him in July 1986 (this mention is engraved on a mother-of-pearl plate).
On the fingerboard, the markings are also in mother-of-pearl and bear the numbers 1,3,5,7,9,12,15,17,19,24.
This prototype guitar was presented at the inauguration of the "Guitar center" store cours Lafayette in Lyon, in the presence
presence of The Who bassist (1944-2002), who donated it to the store.
The guitar bears John Entwistle's signature in gold felt-tip pen on the protective cover of the back plate of the electronics, dated
