Pencil on paper. 12.4 x 20.6 cm. With the estate stamp (Lugt 1775b) on the backing card and signed, dated and inscribed in an unknown hand. Estate stamp and inscribed again by hand on the verso. - With studio-related creases, otherwise in impeccable condition.

This sequence of characters are illustrations from the tragicomedy "Hilfe! A child has fallen from the sky" by the Bonn writer Wilhelm Schmidtbonn (1876-1952). The play premiered on February 28, 1910 in the Kammerspiele of the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
