With iron marks on the inside, and an original handwritten label "M.C Cherpitel, Luthier, 218 rue Saint Denis, Paris, 1874, N°26", one-piece maple back, spruce top with regular, moderately large pores, orange-brown varnish over gold. A fine example by this maker. 358 mm.
