REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO, Bust representing a standing nude ancestor, hands placed on his generous belly as a sign of abundance. His face displays a beautiful hieratic expression, accentuated by his half-closed almond-shaped eyes. His headdress is carved with a cruciform symbol, arranged in a circular back bun. Wood with brown patina, weathering on the lower part.
