German Orders and Medals - Duchy of Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha : Saxe Ernestine House Order: 1st Type Neck Badge with Cypher "E" for Saxe - Coburg and Gotha Gold and enamel, on the short neckband section. The lions between the arms of the cross are finely chiselled, the crown in a particularly sculptural design. The cipher "E" on the upper arm of the cross set in with pins and fixed with resin. The lower cross arm on the back with excellently executed old enamel repair. A beautiful example in the best jeweller's quality. Gold und Emaille, am kurzen Halsbandabschnitt. Die Löwen zwischen den Kreuzarmen fein ziseliert, die Krone in besonders plastischer Ausführung. Die Chiffre "E" auf dem oberen Kreuzarm mittels Stiften eingelassen und mit Harz fixiert. Der untere rückseitige Kreuzarm mit exzellent ausgeführter alter Emaillereparatur. Schönes Exemplar in bester Juweliersqualität. Condition: 1-2
