A CEYLON NO HEAT SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND DRESS RING set with a cushion cut sapphire of 6.88 carats in a concentric border of round brilliant cut yellow and white diamonds, the shoulders set with pear cut yellow diamonds and round brilliant cut white diamonds, the gallery accented by further diamonds, the diamonds all totalling 9.46 carats, stamped 18KT PLAT, size O1/2 / 7.5, 58.2g. Accompanied by a facsimile GIA report stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon (Sri Lankan) origin with no indication of heat treatment.
