A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF A LAMA

Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with the vajra emblem to its front, both hands raised in front of his chest showing the dharmacakramudra, wearing monastic garment including an underskirt and a patchwork mantle with raised ridges, a cloth section is draped over his left shoulder falling down his back set with a semi-precious stones inlaid floral ornament, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into his nose-bridge, smiling lips and shaven hairdo, traces of black pigments, sealed.
