YASUNOSUKE: A BRONZE JIZAI OKIMONO OF A GRASSHOPPER By a member of the Ryubundo Yasunosuke family, signed Yasunosuke Japan, late 19th to early 20th century, Meiji period (1868-1912) Cast and hammered in bronze in the likeness of a grasshopper with fully articulated legs and wings, and well-detailed head, thorax and abdomen, the bronze of a warm copper-brown tone. Signed to the underside within a rectangular reserve YASUNOSUKE. LENGTH 7.9 cm WEIGHT 68 g Condition: Very good condition with minor wear.
