Earthenware plate with contoured rim featuring polychrome patriotic decoration with three orders: a sheaf of wheat, a sword and a crosier, and the inscriptions 'tres in uno' and 'vis unita fortior 1789'.
Third State symbols on patriotic earthenware are almost always agricultural in inspiration, and the sheaf of wheat shown here is no exception.
Late 18th century, revolutionary period.
