Earthenware salad bowl with polychrome patriotic decoration in the center of a medallion with two hearts ablaze on an altar, crossed by two flags inscribed: "vive la nation" and "vive l'amour" and a pike topped with a liberty cap. Above and below, respectively, the inscriptions "vive la liberté" and "vive la nation et la constitution".
Late 18th century, revolutionary period.
