Historic earrings with Old European cut, transitional and trapezoid cut diamonds Platinum 950 (tested), 2 diamonds in transitional cut (c. 2.06 ct., calculated weight), slightly tinted white (I-J), SI2 and (c. 2.05 ct., calculated weight), slightly tinted white (I-J), P1; 2 diamonds in Old European cut (c. 0.80 ct., calculated weight), slightly tinted white (I-J), VS2 and (0.72 ct., calculated weight), slightly tinted white (I-J), SI2; 18 small brilliant cut diamonds (total c. 1.08 ct., calculated weight), slightly tinted white (I-J), VS2 to SI1-2; 8 diamonds in trapezoid cut/step cut (total c. 0.64 ct., calculated weight), slightly tinted white (I-J), VS1-2. 10.10 grams. L. c. 37 mm. The diamonds are set in curved chatons typical of the period. The trapezoid-shaped diamonds are set in open frames in a quatrefoil. Screw pin on the back with screw-on clasp.
