Les Paysans Savoyards - 1917 / 1921: rare small in 4° ff. in publisher's gray cloth flap wallet (minor foxing on covers), with a suite of 14 etchings, signed, dated and some designated in the plate. Copy numbered 35, that of Mme Hélène Imbert-Jacques (sister of the Artist) bearing her Ex-Libris engraved by André JACQUES. Preface by François Grange of the Académie de Savoie Dardel éditeur (1921), one of 70 copies on Hollande vellum reserved for subscribers, including: Les Pensières in Chavoires, a farm in Talloires, Dumont le maquignon, Jeune Savoyard, La Peronne, Victor Favre, Nathalie Riotton, Druz le pontonnier, Fromaget, La Fine, La Marie, Vernex, La Paclette, Jules Crochon. This extraordinary work was awarded the Bernheim prize at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 1922.
