[1960s] Nul=0 blindfold, signed by Jan Schoonhoven and Armando Piece of white cloth, coarsely cut to 90 x 8.5 cm, stamped 'nul=0' by Henk Peeters in black ink (faded, but legible), signed in pencil ‘JJ Schoonhoven 1 IV ’66’, and signed in pen ‘Armando’. In wooden frame behind glass, 26 x 53 x 3 cm. The strips were used during the opening performance of Armando and Schoonhoven’s exhibition at Orez Gallery in The Hague on April 1 1966. A great picture exists in which the poet Hans Verhagen is blindfolding the public in the gallery. Ref. Caroline de Westenholz, A History of International Gallery Orez, 2016 p. 111.
