Shunga from the series Willow Storm 'Yanagi no arashi'. 26 x 38.5 cm. Onnagata are male actors who play female roles in kabuki theatre. As the print depicts a man with an onnagata, the scene also perhaps also touches on modern-day conceptions of transgender people.
