Two pieces of tape from former mount at upper corners verso, a few creases and minor other imperfections, a good copy. Early, attractive map from the first atlas devoted to the Americas, Descriptionis ptolemaicae augmentum, Louvain, ca. 1600, showing Panama, Colombia and part of Venezuela. Also found under the title "Castilla Aurifera (...)". -and a handcol. map of the same region, Terra Firma et novum regnum Granatense et Popayan, Montanus/ Ogilby, 1671 (mediocre copy) and 1 other map.
