Important and magnificent KACHAN carpet, (Iran), 3rd third of the 20th century.
Dimensions : 414 x 272cm.
Technical features : Wool velvet on cotton backing.
A sublime, imposing and delicate polychrome vegetal rosette and its symbolic lamps are enthroned in the center of an ivory, oblong, serrated field covered with floral scrolls. A wide border of interlocking pyramidal caissons, adorned with rich multicolored floral compositions. Floral stems all around. Very poetic.
