Leather covers, with faults. Incomplete book. Pages 5, 6, 7 and 8 are missing. Page 336 is incorrectly numbered and appears as 326 (repeating number). Restorations. Stains and faults. Measurements: 34 x 21.5 x 8 cm. Ambroise Paré (Laval, 1510-Paris, 1590), French surgeon of the 16th century. He is considered the father of surgery, anatomy, teratology and military health. A collection of his works was published in Paris in 1575, and was later reprinted several times. Several editions also appeared in English, German and Dutch. Thanks to his writings in French, during the course of his lifetime he advanced surgery more than the whole of mankind had done in 1,500 years of our era." Incomplete book.
