Gustave VICHY (1839-1904), - "The Vegetable Merchant". - Interesting automaton depicting a woman seated astride a mule, holding a basket loaded with vegetables. On an advancing cart, the donkey moves its head and the rider her arm and head. The head and arms are in polychrome cookie, the eyes in sulfide, and the clothes in silk. Probably in its original wooden case. - Dimensions: 41 x 33 x 18 cm. - Without winding key.
