CHANTIERS de JEUNESSE. RAVEL Jacques (1923-2008) Set of 3 fascicles, format 17 X 13.5 cm, entitled "Craponnot", a journal for use by the CJF 9 shipyard, entirely handwritten and illustrated with gouache vignettes dated 1943 and 1944. Jacques RAVEL (1923-2008), draughtsman and painter from Lyon, created a body of work whose refinement and mannerist preciosity of form imaginatively convey the universal surreality and baroque spirit.
