Gerard VAN BERLEBORCH (c.1610-c.1660), attributed to Still life with a rummer Oil on canvas on panel, signed lower left 40.5 x 35.1 cm Fred G. Meijer wrote about this in 2016: "fragment of a cartouche still life in the manner of Frans Ykens, around a rummer; the rummer (this fragment) probably by a different hand than the fruit and flowers". It is unclear whether Meijer saw the signature at the bottom left, as it is only visible in certain light and cannot be captured photographically. In the RKD the work is classified between 1640 and 1690 and is not attributed to a specific painter. Provenance: 1940 art dealer D. Katz; 1972: Art dealer: S.
