Josef KULICKA (1933-2023) Untitled Oil on canvas, inscribed on the frame by the artist's hand and dated 1981 60 x 50 cm, Rahmen: 62 x 52 cm Josef Kulicka, whose artist's name was "Boulette", studied medicine, but was accepted into the Czechoslovak Association of Visual Artists as an autodidact in 1965. Various exhibitions followed, and in 1969 he was a founding member of the artist group MJ, Olomouc. In 1968 he emigrated to Switzerland and worked as a doctor. Numerous exhibitions followed here, too, such as in the Kunsthalle Bern. His works can be found in many private collections, but also in museums such as the Olomouc Art Museum.
