Very rare four-lobed bronze covered box, the top of the lid engraved in the center with an Arabic inscription in a reserve surrounded by clouds, the sides of the lid and box decorated with lotus scrolls. It stands on four ruyi-shaped feet. The inscription reads "Praise be to God". CHINA, Ming dynasty, 17th century. Weight: approx. 1285 g. H: 6.1; W: 16.8; D: 13.7 cm.
