Edition illustrated with 100 color plates by Salvador Dali (1904-1989). One of 3900 copies of the main edition on Rives vellum pur chiffon. Dali worked on the illustration for almost 10 years, and it took the publisher another 4 years to engrave the 3,500 woodcuts capable of restoring the colors of the original illustrations. Small tear to spine of Volume II of Hell, other defects minor, good copy.
