Representing Shakyamuni Buddha seated in padmasana, hands in dhyanamudra position, wearing a monastic robe with harmonious folds, serene face, half-closed eyes, long ears and curly hairstyle. Some remnants of gold lacquer, particularly in the hair, but mostly gone, revealing the undercoat of red and dark red lacquer.
