Paris, Janet, (1800). in-24, 58 x 95 mm, 32 pp, ivory silk embroidered with gilt metallic threads, pearls and cabochons of diamond-cut worms, in the center of each cover, charming painted scene of desolation under mica in medallion: "Je pleure sa mort et ma vie" and "Je ne l'oublierai jamais", on the first flyleaf, mirror framed with fine braid, on the second flyleaf pink silk gusset, gilt edges, red morocco case lined with blue silk (Rel. ép.). Fully engraved almanac, title and 10 figures, all in color, 24 engraved and 8 printed pp. for "Le Nouveau calendrier pour 1800"; "perte et gain" tablet in the middle of the volume. A DELIGHTFUL COLORED COPY IN AN ATTRACTIVE EMBROIDERED MINIATURE BINDING, IN PERFECT CONDITION. Beads and threads missing from spine. Mirror stained.
