Blueberry, plate no. 3 in Indian ink from the episode "La Tribu fantôme" published in L'Écho des savanes no. 81, October 1981. This adventure concludes the "Blueberry fugitif" cycle that began with the episode "Nez Cassé". The very fine composition is underlined by the diversity of the shots: in the first strip, a general rear view of the military column heading north; in the last strip, the author offers a general shot, a close-up and a general shot with Blueberry and his Navajo friends; this sequence is punctuated by the two middle strips, which occupy the entire width of the board and, like a champ-contrechamp, offer a reading from right to left and vice versa. A fine lesson in cinematographic cutting by the Giraud-Charlier duo, enhanced by fine, detailed inking (patch in panel 5 and trace of sticky paper in panel 7). Dimensions: 35.4 x 45 cm.
