Hans, acrylic on canvas (mounted on stretcher) for the cover of Tintin n°21, May 22, 1984, created for the story "Ardélia", scripted by André-Paul Duchâteau and published in the album "Le Prisonnier de l'éternité" (Ed. du Lombard, 1985). For the album cover, the author created an illustration very similar to this one, with the same color schemes, the same threat, the same location, but keeping only Hans and Orchidée facing the winged men of Queen Ardélia. Intense composition in the wild forest, in which the Thorgal author expresses his genius for direct color. Signed and dated 84. Dedicated, signed and dated 86 on verso. (Framed). Canvas dimensions : 40,3 x 50.
