Most complete state, with 146 lithographed plates including frontispiece, most copies having 143 or 144. The plates are mostly two-tone, often lithographed after drawings by E. Tudot. Six of them are chromolithographs, mostly depicting the Dance of the Dead at La Chaise-Dieu. At the end: double-page map and table of plates.
