Tony soulié 2009 2010 2011 - Born in Paris in 1955, Tony Soulié is an internationally recognized artist of the new French abstraction. A traveler, painter, poet and photographer, he seeks to be in tune with "the time and space that are ours". Tony Soulié travels the world and makes it his own. He photographs, paints and sets up ephemeral installations, highlighting our fragility in the face of the force and durability of the elements. His mixed-media works are based on a photograph on which the brush draws signs and markers: a kind of emblematic writing that erases itself. To discover Tony Soulié's work is to recall atmospheres, urban wanderings and infinite horizons. Presented by Patrick Grainville, the book presents the artist's work over the last 3 years. Tony Soulié's work can be found in public collections such as the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris and La Villette, as well as in numerous private collections around the world. - Gourcuff Gradenigo -
