Superb late 17th century powder flask. Flat wooden body chemically blackened by ebonization and carved with floral scrolls, the front bears a beautiful coat of arms decorated with a crossed key with a sword on a crown (slight attack by xylophagous insects). The metal parts are in oxidized steel, a strong belt hook is present on the back of the pear, a functional spring mechanism determines the distribution of the powder trapped in the tube. The pear is presented with a multicolored cord running through the rings. H: 180 mm (Condition 2-)
