Autograph letter signed, La Prieure de MARINGUES, (Couvent des ursulines de Maringues, Puy-de-Dôme), written August 31, 1707, addressed to Monseigneur: 3 pages in-8°: "What pain I can feel not to have the honor of seeing your Highness here. She will not think it amiss if I tell her that nothing could console me or soften my grief than to see this entire Community edified and charmed by the conduct of Monseigneur l'Abbé d'Auvergne, who surprises us all, that at his age he is as experienced as he is in everything that concerns our rules. He continues today... and I fear that the great application he gives himself may (not) exhaust his health..."
