Madame Cécile CARNOT, wife of the President of the Republic. Marie PaulineCécile Dupont-White (1841-1898) was the daughter of economist Charles Brook Dupont-White and Cécile Olympe Corbie. On June 2, 1863, she married Marie François Sadi Carnot, who became President of the French Republic on December 3, 1887. Letter A.S. on "Présidence de la République" letterhead, written in Paris on January 12, 1888. Mrs. Carnot asks her interlocutor to visit her to introduce someone to her.
