Madame Cécile CARNOT, wife of the President of the Republic. Marie PaulineCécile Dupont-White (1841-1898) was the daughter of economist Charles Brook Dupont-White and Cécile Olympe Corbie. On June 2, 1863, she married Marie François Sadi Carnot, who became President of the French Republic on December 3, 1887.
