Clotilde de SAXE-COBOURG GOTHA. Marie Adélaïde Amélie-Clotilde de Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha (1846-1927), Princess of Saxony, then by her marriage Princessepalatina of Hungary. Clotilde de Saxe-Cobourg-Kohary was the eldest daughter of Prince Auguste de Saxe-Cobourg-Kohary and the French Princess Clémentine d'Orléans. The eldest sister of King Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, she is also related, through her father, to the royal families of Belgium, Portugal and the United Kingdom, while her mother is descended from the French King Louis-Philippe I. On May 12, 1864, the Princess married Archduke Joseph de Habsbourg-Lorraine, Count Palatine of Hungary, son of Archduke Joseph Antoine de Habsbourg-Lorraine, Count Palatine of Hungary, and his third wife Princess Dorothée de Wurtemberg. - Letter A.S. written in VIENNA on November 20, 1893 to a Baron, concerning the sale of his estate.
