Paul LEROY-BEAULIEU, Economist, Professor at the Collège de France (1843 - 1916). Letter A.S. PARIS November 1, 1895, to his Printer. 1p in-8°: "Monsieur. Your printing processes are incredible, and my work will never be published. What is urgent is the analytical table. Ten days ago, if not twelve, I gave you three plates of the analytical table, asking for a second proof. Why hasn't this second proof arrived? Nothing is more urgent. Your printing house has no methods, since you have no typefaces, so you have to free them up by sending back second proofs. You're going to prevent my book from being published before January 1st. So get to work on the second proofs of the analytical table right away; I would have returned them to you by now. This is of the utmost urgency."
