Johann Joachim Kaendler (1706-1775), set of figures ‘Allegories of the four seasons’, 4 figures Porcelain figurine group from the Meissen manufactory, design ‘Allegories of the four seasons’ by Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1st choice. The four putti each symbolise one of the seasons - a putti with a basket of flowers for spring, with a bundle of ears and sickle for summer, with vine leaves and grapes for autumn and with ice skates and fur-lined cloak for winter. Polychrome painting. Model no. A 64, A 67, A 71, 2716. height: 13.5-14 cm. Two leaves on the spring flower basket are damaged, otherwise all figures are in excellent condition, no further damage or restorations.
