Art Nouveau period 800 thousandths silver necklace with articulated oblong links centered on a pendant with floral and foliate motifs enameled in plique-à-jour gathered around a mabé pearl, highlighted with round faceted rubies and five oblong freshwater cultured pearls held in tassels. Spring clasp. Marked on the reverse "DEPOSE STERLING". Neck size: 40cm. Pendant dimensions: 6x7.1cm. P. Gross weight: 14.1g. (One stone missing, small cracks in the enamel). Our necklace is closely related to the Arts and Crafts of Great Britain or the Jugendstil of Germany, such as those by Theodor Fahrner or Heinrich Levinger. Often in silver, enhanced with plique-à-jour enamel, their creations feature richly colored flora.
